sorry to bluff in english but chinese input is not installed.
experienced engineer is always needed in Singapore so you can find a well compensated position given your background.
a few ways you can follow:
1. Most large corporations have dedicated careers website, just look through, you can usually find the link on their main website.
2. Second option is through headhunter/agencies. But the career website should always be your first priority.
3. Job searching website: jobsdb, jobstreet.
Just wonder why you would send your girl over here for education.
Singapore is a tiny tiny island, so the mind of people here. Unlike what others have imagined(especially those who are not familiar with singapore), most singaporeans are small-minded, selfish, greedy, stupid, lazy, arrogant. After all they are just pig-like species who are well kept by a few big families (you know who).
How can you expect such a place could produce decent education? The rich never send their kids to local schools. They would send them over to US,UK,Japan or even hongkong.
You should consider it seriously, and think about what kind of person you want your girl to be!
As you have a fairly solid income, I suppose you wouldn't worry too much about the economic side for you girl and wish her to be a well rounded person, find a nice man and enjoy a peaceful life.
No means to offend, but the truth is, your daughter will most likely to be a ignorant slut under the environment here.
Even if you keep her so well that she won't become the common singaporean girl. She will lose the most valuable things that she may gain back in China--the chinese soul. she will pick the singaporean accent, probably the shittest accent all over the world, she will know nothing about chinese culture and history, she will lose the special spirit and feel that chinese culture can bring to a girl.
And you can never expect her to be western, the same reason she lose the chinese characteristics.
leave alone the statement of "mixure of western of eastern culture", we all know it's just a joke.
The likely result is, she will get used to the shitty environment, and stay with the shitty people and will never get to meet a nice man, which is perhaps the most miserable thing for a girl.
You can send her to Shanghai and send her overseas for college. Chinese education is much better than most people claimed to be, all that sucks are the university application system, but the content itself is fine. And high school in Shanghai is way much better than it elsewhere if she will finally study abroad, much better than most people think it is, but the condition is for the so-called top 30 high school.
Sorry to bluff so much but just want to share some thoughts with you, as I'm a father of girl too. And i know that child is who we most care about.
