请教中一数学题目，见内：

A company planned to donate 640 packs of instant noodles, 320 bottles of mineral water and $800 worth of cash to an old folks home. Suppose that the maximum number of packs of instant noodles, bottles of mineral water and cash are to be placed equally in gift bags before the donation.
(a) How many gift bags are needed?
(b) List the content in each gift bag.

我的理解：
题目要求往bag 里放尽量多的packs of instant noodles, bottles of mineral water 和cash，而且是平均地放入。
这样的话，只要一个gift bag不就可以了？里面不就放了最多的packs of instant noodles, bottles of mineral water和cash。

正确答案是160个gift bag。这好像是640，320和800的最大公约数，也就是变成要求尽量多的gift bag了。

樓主很可愛，是你題目理解有誤，如果照你理解的那樣題目就沒意思了，出題者確實是問可平均放入所有東西的最大值。亦即你後來的推測為正解。

题目的phrasing有问题，是maximum number of gift bags in which packs of noodles... are evenly distrubuted. 当然，不是算HCF这题就没有意义了。

我就觉得题目出得不对，邻里中学的老师也就这水平了，误人子弟呀！
应该把maximum换成minumum，你说对不对?

errr 其实确实是有问题

具体纠起来的意思应该是

the number of each item should be equal in each bag. （ie. there are equal number of packs of instant noodles in each bag, equal number of bottles of mineral water in each bag and equal amount of cash in each bag）

然后

Suppose that the maximum number of packs of instant noodles, bottles of mineral water and cash are to be placed equally in gift bags before the donation.

就是出题的时候被想当然了 (take for granted)

=)

太纠结的话 书里卷子里好多都做不了了

我觉得你把pack和bag搞混了。

应该是如下：
Bag 1: X packs of instant noodles, Y bottles of mineral water and $Z cash
Bag 2: X packs of instant noodles, Y bottles of mineral water and $Z cash
.
.
.
Bag ?: X packs of instant noodles, Y bottles of mineral water and $Z cash

求最多可以有多少个bag。
解题思路就是X,Y,Z要尽量最小，但愿题是要求X,Y,Z尽量最大，这就把我搞糊涂了。

不过您理解反了  是尽可能地多的往每个bag里放每样物品

所以是求最少几个bag

求的是最大公约数 HCF higest common factor ^_^

或许我的英文理解错了，下面这句话到底是啥意思？特别是maximum这个词。
