You don't know nothing.

你什么也不知道。

或许有人已经发现这句话的语法是错的，正确的应该是 "You don't know anything." 才对。 但很多老美特别爱说 "You don't know nothing." (两句话意思完全一样!) 像是这样的表达叫双重否定(double negative)，用来表达非常强烈的语气。比如 "You didn't pay me any money." 和 "You didn't pay me no money." (你没有给我钱)，这两句话意思完全一样，但哪一句话听起来比较爽呢? 当然是 "You didn't pay me no money." 啦!

有些同学问我，大家都说Happy New Year! 但为什么圣诞就是Merry Christmas！而不是Happy Christmas呢？

有木有懂行的来解释一下？

唉，没有人回答，自己发的贴自己顶一下吧：其实查了字典你就会发现，它们俩可是同义词，所以都是正确的。虽然“Merry Christmas”这个说法流传广泛，但英国女王更偏爱用“Happy Christmas”噢。
