Working in a software development environment, the QA Manager willdefine the test strategy and approach for all products, provide qualityassurance leadership and be responsible for product quality. This individual must have a proven trackrecord of success building, leading, and managing a functional and technical softwareor QA team with a strong sense of quality ownership.

Responsibilities:

Maintain company ISO9001:2000
Lead efforts to develop, document andimplement efficient software development processes
Refine existing processes for processimprovement
Collaborate with developers toimprove overall product quality by emphasizing defect prevention throughout thedevelopment process.
Anticipate potential software problemsby creating exhaustive test scenarios that ensure comprehensive testing.
Collect and analyze statistics for processimprovement
Educate and mentor project members on processrelated issues
Ensure valuable project experience arecollected and fed back into the process
Assist the project manager in planning theproject
Monitor and conduct regular audits onprojects to ensure adherence to process
Prepare Software Quality Assurance Plan
Prepare Software Configuration ManagementPlan

Knowledge and Skills

Bachelor Degree in InformationTechnology, Computer Science, or Engineering
Possess an ISO9001:2000 certification as atrained internal auditor
Excellent analytical,organizational, and problem solving skills
In depth understanding of the process definitionto be able to make informed considerations when tailoring the process to suitspecific software project
Possess multiple experiences working on thefull lifecycle of software development projects
Excellent written, verbal, andcommunications skills to interact with staff and customers 
Able to liaise with subsidiaryoffice in China.
