JOB SUMMARY： We are looking for a Singapore-based Field Application Engineer (FAE or Sr. FAE) to provide technical support for our distributors and customers in ASEAN countries and India, with the expectation of overseas business trip regally. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting IC products, including (1) DC-DC and LDO products, (2) Signal Integrity products such as ReDrivers and Repeaters, (3) Signal Switches and Multiplexers such as Analog Switches and Bus Switches, and (4) discrete components such as MOSFETs and diodes.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES： (1) The job scope includes (a) promoting/training customers and distributors on the products, (b) following up and tracking customer projects, (c) providing technical support for schematic layout/review, performance evaluation, and debugging, and (d) handling CCR for application portion. (2) Collaborates closely with sales to design and win Diodes Inc. solutions with customers. (3) Drives and works with distributors to design and win Diodes Inc. solutions in key accounts. (4) Works closely with product Business Units for product support/promotion, feedback on market information, and alignment with the new product roadmap.
REQUIREMENTS of KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (1) A Bachelor's degree or equivalent is required. Candidates must have at least five years of total experience in R&D, FAE, or AE roles. (2) Good understanding of EE hardware architecture is essential. (3) Strong ability to verify customer design circuits/schematics, review PCB layouts, troubleshoot/debug, and perform initial failure analysis. (4) Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required. (5) A background in semiconductor devices is preferred. (6) Self-motivated individuals who work closely with sales and customers to promote products and participate in customer visits are preferred. (7) Experience working in Singapore is preferred.Willing to relocate to Singapore or already be based in Singapore.
