ACTUALLY U CAN GET ONE PRIOR TO YOUR DEPARTURE AREA.. LIKE IF U GO THAILAND , PAY $5 U CAN GET ONE. THE CARD DOESN'T DO MUCH AS U MAY THOUGHT OF, OR SHOULD I SAY, U CAN ENJOY THE SAME BENEFIT AS U DON'T HAVE THE CARD. I TRAVEL MUCH AROUND AND I FIND THAT IT'S NOT NECESSARY TO HAVE THAT UNLESS THE YOUTH HOSTEL OR PACKAGE U BOOK NEED CLARIFICATION.

How to do??</P><P>I've just back from Thailand, and I don't think it worth using YHA card over there too. But I will go to Australia soon, the YHA discount with the card are really attractive. With card, I can have 4-5 AUD less per night. Can I get the same discount without the YHA card?</P><P>so.... asking how can I get the card. Thanks!</P>
<P>My plan is travel at east coast. From Melbourne to Cairns within around 3 weeks time. But unfortunately, I cannot drive. So no chance to go by renting a car. I would probably using train instead. depend where you choose to stay, in bangkok,there's lost of guest house and travel agency doing the card, like in kao shan area. or u can do it via internet application, i forgot the web address, try search around. if u have couple of ppl going to australia, try renting a camp van, it's fun. i have tried a few times, quite fun actually. which part of australia u going to?
