        <p>Provide technical and functional pre-sales support to prospective customers while ensuring customer satisfaction with minimal supervision. </p><p></p><p><b>RESPONSIBILITIES:</b>
        </p><p>SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES : <br/><br/>1. Partner with Sales Account Managers by providing the necessary support to compete effectively with key competitors <br/>2. Develop, present and demonstrate Oracle Database solutions to prospective customers based on detailed customer requirements. <br/>3. Understand the dependencies on other Oracle and 3rd party software components to develop complete solutions for customers <br/>4. Support the development of customer workshops, pilots and proof-of-concepts <br/>5. Be the recognized subject matter expert for Database, learn and maintain product knowledge and transfer knowledge to Sales Account Managers, Sales Consultants and other relevant Oracle communities <br/>6. Provide necessary input into RFI's and RFP's <br/>7. As an integral member of the sales team, contribute in detailed qualification of opportunities, formulation of strategies and technical approaches, plans for presales campaigns <br/></p><p></p><p><b>QUALIFICATIONS:</b>
        </p><p>RELEVANT TRAINING &amp; EXPERIENCE: <br/><br/>Essential Non-Product: <br/>1. 5 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in IBM/MS is welcome. <br/>2. Successful sales consulting experience, selling and positioning Database solutions <br/>3. Excellent presentation and communication skills both written and oral, ability to communicate at all levels <br/>4. Self-motivator with the ability to work independently (as required) <br/>5. Very good project planning and time management skills <br/>6. Strong leadership and mentoring skills <br/>7. Degree level qualification or equivalent <br/>8. Mandarin and English Language Fluency <br/><br/><br/>Essential Product Specific: <br/>1. Technical experience including but not limited to installation, configuration and sizing of leading database products particularly IBM DB2, MS SQL and Oracle <br/>2. Hands-on experience in the implementation of Database project. <br/>3. Strong knowledge across security concepts such RAC (HA), Identity Management, Enterprise Management etc <br/>4. Understanding of RDBM including Oracle, DB2, MS SQL etc.<br/>5. Experienced in Object Oriented programming languages preferably experience in Java <br/>6. Good technical skill in J2EE/XML/Web Services, Integration, SOA. <br/>8.
