<td><p class="style7">Starting
September 2008 the University of Chicago's Master of Science in
Financial Mathematics program will be taught in Singapore. The courses
will be taught through a combination of interactive video conferencing
and live on-site lectures by University of Chicago faculty.<br/>
The curriculum and courses are identical to those of the Chicago
program. Each course meets 3 hours per week and there are additional
tutorial sessions.<br/>
The live classes will be taught 8-11am, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays
and the recorded lectures can be viewed in the classroom from 7-10pm on
the same days. The recorded lectures can also be viewed anytime after
that on a personal computer through a broad-band internet connection.
The tuition is S$6500 for each credit (one 10 week course). A total of
9 credits are required for the Master's degree.</p>
<p class="style7">The
program will start taking applications for both full and part-time
students on March 1 and the dead-line for applications will be May 1.
Applicants will be notified about admissions decisions on or before May

<p class="style7">University
of Chicago's Master of Science in Financial Mathematics is an approved
programme under the Finance Scholarship Programme (FSP) administered by
the Monetary Authority of Singapore. Â Applicants to the programme may
be eligible for FSP funding support on a case-by-case basis.
