• Bonus points are accorded to eligible students in the computation of their net aggregates. Please note that bonus points are used to determine the net aggregate of students during posting. They are not taken into consideration in determining whether applicants are eligible for specific courses under the JAE.

结论：两样都可以减分，但不能超过顶限。

原则上是这样的。选第三那语言和S1 Posting一样，PSLE高分者先得。

如果“不幸”没有选上心仪的语言课程 ...

Wrb  谢谢了，可是去哪里APPEAL呢？

呵呵，我没有Appeal过。不过听一位妈妈说她是直接找MOELC，要求把她孩子的名字加在waiting list里面，最后成功地选到了日语。

第三语言的Appeal没有一个正式的机制，正因为如此，敢想敢干的人往往能够从中得利。。。

相识

儿子考得不错265+3, 他自己想去NJC(男女混校，还有孩子可能想为我省钱，因为我们不是公民）, 老师，妈妈都要他选RI.
我的问题是NJC和RI 差别很大吗？
RI 对孩子的压力会不会很大？

刚刚查了一下RI的学费，吓了一大跳。

A new fee system (detailed in the table below) will apply to all new Permanent Resident (PR) and foreign students joining RI in 2012:

NEW Students	Year 2012 (S$ / per month)
Singapore Citizen	300
Permanent Resident	450
MOE Scholar	300
International Student (ASEAN)	1200
International Student (Non-ASEAN)	1500

NJC好像一个月只有226元。

能上顶尖的学校大多在260分以上.
260分以上的孩子是有奖学金的吧

能上顶尖的学校大多在260分以上.

拿EESIS奖学金必须满足以下条件：

1. 新加坡公民；
2. 已被自主中学录取；
3. PLSE成绩在自主中学录取的全部考生中排在前1/3。

注：GEP学生只需满足第一和第二条

政府学校学费这么贵呀！这里没有义务教育这说儿吗？
国内九年义务教育，初中之前好像不怎么收费，高中收的也不多。当然国际学生没当过，不知贵不贵。
美国十二年义务教育，不管公民、绿卡，还是国际学生，只要不是F1签证，一视同仁。上公立学校，一分不交，还不用买校服，就穿自己的衣服。不但不交钱，还经常往回家那东西，像学木匠、铁匠、油漆匠、玻璃匠的作品，还有学裁缝、学做饭的成果等等。
