这是儿子的数学作业。他们学校每个班级都有一个blog，每课老师会把一些信息update上去给家长看。刚开学时，老师事无巨细地啥都写，现在是选择性的写，或是慢一天再update。原因在于让孩子自己重视school diary，把自己的作业写全了。不养成他们依赖家长提醒的习惯。

还好吧，儿子上的那间有自己的gym room，一三五有专门的运动时间，二四是节奏和韵律。我自己当过childcare老师，便宜的贵的都教过，有些还不错，大部分都不怎么样。你前面说得也对，新加坡的幼儿园系统本身有问题。

是每班都有的，低年级主要是靠老师。听说高年级的，是班长什么的在update。

English Spelling
Dear Parents,

Please note that there will be no Spelling Tests on 1 and 8 February.

For today's Spelling Test, one common mistake that caused the children's 'shiny star' in front of their book, was the use of uppercase letters. I've taken a picture of a child's work (whom I cannot remember whose); please pardon me if this piece of work belongs to your child.

As you can see, I know that the child knows that he/she is to begin the phrase 'jumped into' with a lowercase 'j'. However, the lowercase 'j' is resting on the line, instead of letting its tail fall. A lowercase 's' is also another common issue. To reinforce the importance of correct formation of letters, I will be using Spelling as one of the platforms to inform both the children, and parents as well, of the standard that we have for the children. I will be penalising them on this.
There are children who are still placing full stops behind the phrases. They will not be penalised for this, but your help in looking out for this when giving practice Spelling sessions will definitely help them improve on this.
