For children of Singapore citizen(s) by registration
Child’s Documents - One recent passport-sized colour photograph of applicant affixed on the completed citizenship application form. The photograph must be:
- 35 mm wide by 45 mm high without border and taken within the last three months;
- taken full face without headgear, unless the applicant habitually wears a headgear in accordance with religious or racial customs. The headgear must not hide the applicant's facial features;
- the facial image must be between 25 mm and 35 mm from chin to crown; and taken against plain white background with a matt or semi-matt finish
- Identity Card; Birth Certificate; Passport
- Deed Poll or Religious Certificate for change of name (if any)
- Adoption Order if applicable
Parents' Documents (Father & Mother) - Identity Card and Passport
- Marriage Certificate. If parents’ marriage was registered outside Singapore, child’s father is required to make a Statutory Declaration stating that (name of wife) is his one and only wife if he is the applicant for child’s citizenship.
- Death Certificate/Divorce Certificate/Separation Deed/Custody document of child/children by previous spouses, if applicable. Letter of consent from ex-spouse if child is under joint-custody.
- Letter of employment from current employer, stating the occupation, date of employment and gross salary per month, including latest payslip, if employed.
- Authorisation formfor ICA to obtain and verify financial information with the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore and Central Provident Fund Board. (However, if you do not wish to give consent for the former, you will need to furnish us with your Income tax notice of assessment for latest 3 years and CPF contribution history for latest 6 months, preceding the date of this application).
- Business registration certificate from Accounting & Corporate Regulatory Authority (ACRA), latest balance sheet/profit and loss account if applicant is a sole proprietor/partner/Director of a company.
- Birth Certificate(s); Singapore Citizenship Certificate(s); Adoption Certificate; Passport(s) of other child/children.
Please bring along all the original and a photocopy of these documents. You may also be required to furnish additional documents whenever necessary.
